Taking the initial step towards seeking a happier and more fulfilling life can be challenging, but you don’t have to navigate through the process alone. One of my passions in life is helping individuals to learn valuable tools for creating stronger connections with other people in their world. Through my warm, empathetic, and interactive counseling style, I respect and honor every individual’s growth process, and believe the foundation of exceptional therapy includes trust, emotional safety, and collaboration. My therapeutic approach is strength based and combines cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and solution-focused counseling.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 7 years of experience working with individuals who have been diagnosed with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety disorder and depression, as well as providing crisis management in critical situations. Some of my specialties include modifying challenging behaviors, dealing with life transitions, family life issues, parenting difficulties and developmental delays in children and adults. I am supervised by Nicole Carson, LMFT #99765, who has with more than 20 years of experience working with behaviorally challenged, at-risk youth, their families and those whose lives have been impacted by behavioral and mental health issues.
